Brother Charles has been serving as the Education/Discipleship pastor since 1996. He taught and coached in public education for 30 years prior to coming to First Groves. Charles received an Associate of Arts degree from Panola College before receiving his Bachelor of Science degree from Trinity University in San Antonio. While teaching high school Biology, Charles received his Masters of Education degree from McNeese University. He married his High School sweetheart, Clarice, and have two adult children, Charlie and Chrysta along with 5 grandchildren. (Chaston, Camden, Ava Grey, Coby, and Clara Ann)
