Bro. Alfredo has joined First Baptist in 2016, coming straight from his native country, Uruguay. He’s happily married to Mrs. Nancy, and they serve together to reach the Hispanic Community. Before getting here, he served in South America, in Uruguay and Paraguay as a pastor, since 1987, when he graduated from the Baptist Teological Seminary in Uruguay. First Baptist accepted the challenge of being ‘A Church for the Nations’, and that’s why you may listen to different languages spoken between us. Given the big and growing Hispanic Community around us, we’re happy to open our doors to our Spanish speaking neighbors, so they can listen to the Gospel, experience spiritual growth and reach others in their own language.
